The game

The game

A tile-laying game with number tiles for two to four people – quick to learn, never the same twice.

One table, four colours, seventeen numbers

Sometimes the table is buzzing with debate. Sometimes it goes quiet for minutes, because everyone is puzzling over the same turn.

Runs and groups grow into patterns on the table that keep spreading and changing. Every turn may rearrange what is already there, so the table looks different at the end of every game.

The rules are quick to learn. The possibilities take a lot longer to run out.

How a round works

  1. Draw

Everyone draws 13 to 17 tiles from the bag, depending on how many are playing, and sets them up on their rack.

  2. Lay

You lay runs in one colour, or the same number in different colours. Always at least three tiles.

  3. Rearrange

Anything on the table can be rearranged. Runs cross, corners appear, a joker steps in.

The first to lay down all their tiles wins.
